2016 saw the inaugural Horseback Archery of the Year Awards and we were overwhelmed by the quality of entries that we received.

I was handholding mostly at 400mm the afternoon of the last day of RMA 2015 and decided to shoot a set from directly across from where most riders were taking their front shots. I stayed tight for a handful of shots from this spot including this shot. I never hold my shutter button down, so I shoot one shot per arrow fired by an archer on normal run and just try to time the shot. It worked well in this case.
